More than 44 million individuals in the United States are
family caregivers.
Although they have little training and are often overwhelmed by their duties at hand, a recent poll revealed that most say that although difficult, their experience was also very worthwhile.
Despite that sentiment, the lack of training and resources continues to pose burnout and illness for many caregivers.
