Veterans Advocacy Proponents:We are a federally exempt 501(c)3 Non-Profit corporation. Our mission is to assist Veterans and their families when they are looking for resources to help pay for custodial care costs as well as disability and other federal program eligibility requirements. “They Served Us, So We Serve Them…” is not just a tag line, it’s our mission.

Agape Senior Solutions: Agape Senior Solutions, we turned our passion into our life’s work. While working in healthcare administration for 25 years, our Founder, Christine Plescher, saw the need for quality Professional Guardians and Care Managers to advocate for their client’s desired goals. Being a wife, daughter, grand daughter, and great grand daughter of veterans. Christine has not only lived the life of advocacy in the veteran community in the healthcare realm, but personally lives it and the struggles that at times come along.

Silver Santas is a grassroots project that provides gifts during the holiday season to isolated and low-income seniors through Providers such as assisted living communities, senior housing (HUD) communities and at home by Guardians or Professional Caregivers. For individuals in a nursing home we invite you to submit those names to the Be a Santa to a Senior program –

https://www.beasantatoasenior.com/

1. The needy seniors who are in danger of being forgotten this holiday season are identified by professional Guardians, Case/Social Workers, Senior Community/Activity Directors, and other professionals who work for Providers serving the senior population. These names can be submitted between September 10 – October 18 –

2. Gift tags for the recipients are placed on trees at various locations in Pinellas County starting November 1, 2021. Kind “Silver Santa Shoppers” select a tag and go shopping!

3. Once items are purchased, the Silver Santa Shopper takes the items (Gift Bags are provided), along with the gift tag, back to the place where they picked up the tag, or to the alternate location printed on the tag by December 3, 2021.

4. Gift bags are then distributed to the recipients in time for the holidays.

In lieu of adopting-a-senior we welcome donations of new clothing, hygiene products, candy, and small personal items to help fill out the gift bags. Monetary donations can be made by clicking Donate to Silver Santas or checks/money orders can be mailed to
