The GUIDE Benefit: Comprehensive Support for People with Dementia and Their Caregivers
The GUIDE (Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience) program supports individuals with dementia and their caregivers through comprehensive, no-cost assistance from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation.
Key Benefits of the GUIDE Program:
● No Cost: Absolutely free for participants.
● No Changes to Current Care: The GUIDE benefit is provided in addition to all other benefits. It does not affect or limit your current doctors or current or future care.
● Flexible Respite Options: GUIDE provides $2,500 annually for caregivers to get a break when they need it, with care for their loved ones at home, in a facility, or a day program.
● Seamless Care Coordination: Expert assistance in navigating community resources.
● Dedicated Care Navigator: An experienced, trained professional to help coordinate and ease your care responsibilities.
● Caregiver Support and Training: Access education and resources to enhance your caregiving skills and prepare for the future. Access to a 24/7 support line.
● Broad Eligibility: All people with dementia who are covered by Traditional Medicare (not Medicare Advantage) are eligible. Participants may reside at home or in independent living, assisted living, or memory care.

Arden Courts – A ProMedica Memory Care Community, located on Highland Avenue in Largo, FL caters to the special needs of individuals with memory loss. Staffed by specially trained caregivers, Arden Courts cares for individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Our Largo community features friendly common spaces for residents, an inviting kitchen and family rooms and tranquil walking paths within enclosed courtyards, all designed for the safety and comfort of our residents their families when they visit.
