ROASTED WHISK was created by Lizette Rivera, a local woman who is following her entrepreneurial spirit. She began a popcorn flavored business a few years back called Chef Inspired Popcorn Tampa. They created all kinds of yummy flavors. She pivoted to follow her heritage to launch ROASTED WHISK to salute espresso deliciousness and a tip to her Puerto Rican/Cuban coffee roots. It was her mom who left the sweet treats she created in the lead up to her business on friend’s front porch during the pandemic that launched the biz idea. Lizette had no idea her mom was doing this until after the pandemic and when she randomly met some of her mom’s friends and neighbors, they raved about her goodies and wanted more. She decided perhaps this could become a business. The rest is history.
