About Us | Nancy Moore-Morris and Gary Morris
In 2014, an idea was conceived when friends were in need of a device to aid the wife in assisting her husband without injuring herself. The patient was an 88-year-old WWII veteran recovering from a third hip replacement and had been diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia and dealing with essential tremors. The wife, age 86, was the sole caregiver and wanted to keep him at home for as long as possible, but there was a noticeable toll being taken on her health as well. We wanted to help them, even though we were retired ourselves.

After many attempts for the right design, my wife โ€œput her foot downโ€ so to speak, and we realized that a foot bar along with the top pull bar could turn a normal walker into an aid that addressed the need for both of them. It was a revelation and worked like a dream. We learned later that the laws of physics were the reasons for its success.

We applied for a patent in 2015 and GANM, LLC was formed in Feb. 2017. We received our patent, after 2 1/2 years on September 19, 2017. We purchased and renovated a building in 2018 and started assembling the Footbar walkers in 2018 for sale. We used all USA suppliers for our parts, most were based locally in Paris, Tennessee.

We give God the glory for giving us the ideas, determination, and strength to provide this product. Footbarยฎ has changed the lives of our customers. Preventing injury and stress on both the patients and caregivers is our goal. A portable pull bar and walker combination is a new twist on a product thatโ€™s been around for decades. We have dedicated our retirement years to get our product to the ones that truly need itโ€ฆ.the improvement is simply amazing. We hope you will contact us if you have more questions concerning Footbarยฎ. The best comment is โ€œyou two just gave us our lives backโ€โ€ฆโ€ฆ..our friends managed to stay at home for more four years using the Footbarยฎ. He passed at age 92. She is still our biggest cheerleader at age 91. #Priceless!
