Bill Newsome was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Bushwick projects at 811 Flushing Ave. to the late William (Sonny/Bill) and Pearl Newsome. He attended Most Holy Trinity elementary school, George Westinghouse, vocational and technical high school in Oswego State University in Oswego, New York. Bill is the author of When Love Calls, (You Better Answer) A Love Story Unlike Any Other and this is the true and incredible love story that began what is now 37 years ago for Bill and Sheila Newsome. It details Bill‘s first person Account of heart wrenching situations that tested his faith and resolve. Their story begins in what was the worst moment in Bill‘s life. This is a story of love, faith, inspiration, determination, and hope for anyone who feels there is no hope for love. This truly is a love story unlike any other that is still thriving today.
