About Linda:

Linda Burhans is a national speaker, caregiver advocate, and host of the weekly radio show Tips for Caregivers. Her caregiving journey began in 2006 when her mother moved from New York to Florida and was soon diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. That experience led Linda to become a trusted resource on caregiving support, benefits, and local and national organizations. Known as “The Gal Who Cares for Caregivers,” she incorporates love, laughter, and lessons learned into keynotes, breakout sessions, and trainings for family and professional caregivers. Linda is also the author of Good Night and God Bless, a heartfelt (and sometimes humorous) look at caring for her mother in the final 18 months of her life. She lives in Seminole, Florida.

What Event Hosts Are Saying:

“What is there not to recommend about Linda? I’ve worked with her on a myriad of projects for nearly two decades and have seen her shine when the mission is to educate and support caregivers. Her dedication is never-ending—and I experienced it personally when I was my father’s primary caregiver. Linda brought light to our lives in tangible ways and reminded me it was okay to rest. She is a trusted resource I recommend often, and I enthusiastically recommend her without hesitation.”
