This chapter provides caregivers with resources\, choices\, and information that will promote confidence in navigating the often stress-filled responsibility of providing care for aging loved ones. We seek to grow a community of caregivers so that strength can be realized by program participants in company with others who share similar journeys and concerns. \nThe chapter will offer monthly educational seminars and community connections\, tailored to the specific needs of caregivers in the Cobb and Cherokee County areas. Every meeting will begin with time to meet and greet others and will provide information and resources specific to caregivers’ needs. \nWe meet the third Thursday of every month in person.

DESCRIPTION:ACAP Cobb & Cherokee has been established to offer information\, resources\, support\, and community to enhance the quality of life for area caregivers and their older adult loved ones. This chapter provides caregivers with resources\, choices\, and information that will promote confidence in navigating the often stress-filled responsibility of providing care for aging loved ones. We seek to grow a community of caregivers so that strength can be realized by program participants in company with others who share similar journeys and concerns. \nThe chapter will offer monthly educational seminars and community connections\, tailored to the specific needs of caregivers in the Cobb and Cherokee County areas. Every meeting will begin with time to meet and greet others and will provide information and resources specific to caregivers’ needs. \nWe meet the third Thursday of every month in person.
